Consultation

After you have contacted us by phone or through our website we will schedule a consult with you which can be done in person at your home or through a video call. This is our opportunity to see what your needs are and to discuss how we can help you. We ask that you do not clean up before the consultation. That helps us see your biggest challenges and come up with good solutions. A consult allows us to get to know each other, come up with a plan and discuss details.

Declutter and Organize

SORT . REMOVE . CONTAIN . LABEL

1. When we arrive for your scheduled session we will begin by sorting all the same kind of items together in groups.

2. Once we decide what you want to keep, trash or donate. All unused/unwanted items will be removed from the area. Every home and situation is different. Some clients choose to make all those decisions while they work with us side by side. Other clients choose to be less involved for many reasons and prefer for us to get the job done more on our own.

3. Decide how the items will be contained. We can use containers client already have and/or we can also make suggestions for additional efficient products that can purchased. Most important goal is the function and improving the efficiency of the areas to increase joy and productivity.

4. Now we label! There are many options. We provide basic labels for free but additional more premium labels can be purchased by the client. Labeling is an important part of the process when creating new systems so everyone in the family can maintain the system. Labels mark the homes of the items, telling all family members where to get an item when needed and where to return it.

Maintain

Many of our clients get overwhelmed by busy careers, health issues or raising busy families and that has hindered them from being able to maintain their homes like they would like. Once organized, most clients are able to maintain the new systems we help them create with ease.

However, some clients need maintenance sessions (or quick cleanups). Typically that is more for people that physically can not do it themselves or for people who are just too busy. These are not organizing sessions they are quick cleanups for areas that we have already created organizational systems for. Depending on the client these can be done every 1-3 months.
